What We Do
PLPOA is a volunteer-driven community focused on clean water, safe recreation, and strong neighborhood connections around Pelican Lake. Since 1933, we have worked to preserve the lake's natural beauty and provide resources for our members.

About the Lake
Pelican Lake sits in the northwest corner of Otter Tail County, about eight miles north of Pelican Rapids and just south of the Becker County line. The lake is approximately 7 miles long and 1–1.5 miles wide, up to 60 feet deep, spring-fed, and part of the Pelican River Chain of Lakes.
The association maintains records for approximately 1003 cabin properties around the lake, organized across 44 beach sections and subdivisions, each with assigned Beach Captains and Majors who serve as community liaisons.
Recognition
Minnesota Star Lakes & Rivers Certified — one of only 13 lakes in Minnesota to earn this stewardship recognition.
Otter Tail County "Lake Association of the Year" — recognizing outstanding community stewardship and conservation efforts.
